Magdalenian
is a broad cultural definition within part of the Late Paleolithic
period (c.15,000 to 8500 BC characterized by tools made with blades.
Tools were also made from bone, and art flourished. The period is
named for a cave shelter in La Madeleine (Dordogne, France). |
