Joris finds

Between 1997 and 2000, an area of town between the amphitheater and Lake Geneva was excavated which revealed a new section of the Roman town. Buildings from the 1st century were found, as well as wooden drains and sewers. A well bottom had been built with a wooden barrel, which allows archaeologist to know that the trees from which it was built were cut down in the year 23 AD.
