The Protestant Church in Nyon, named "Notre Dame" before the Reformation, was built in the 12th century on the foundations of a Roman building, perhaps a large private house. |
|
The
white blocks of recycled Roman stone blocks are clearly visible in the
oldest part of the Protestant Church in Nyon. The church stands just
on the edge of the forum.
